Happy landings

When you say, "glitching", what is the servo doing? Happy landings It makes a little noise when there is no control input. Like a slight buzzing noise.

CRASHED TODAY!!!!!!!! I was hovering it and a wind gust caught it, I tried to let it down....Not sure what happened, but when it came down, the blades must of flexed and hit the tail boom. It bent the boom real good. No other damage, cept for a few nicks on the blades. So now the real fun of replacing the boom. ;D Any suggestions on what not to do. ;D

The old blade meets the old boom. Ouch. G2's are pretty easy to fix. Check everything closely before you order parts. Particularly the main and feathering shafts that absorb a lot of shock in a blade strike. It's very common to have analog servos like the ones on the G2 buzz. This can also happen if there is a bind somewhere between the servo and the control surfaces. The servo buzzes be cause it is trying to overcome the resistance. Happy landings

Well found out what the buzzing noise was all about. The servo was bad. Gears stripped out causing minor binding, which was causing the buzzing sound. Luckily I had a spare servo for my Falcon. damn cheap Exceed servos. Oh well. All parts ordered, along with 4 new servos.

I've only had one servo in over a year fail on the G2 and it was in a crash last spring. I must be lucky. Like they say, "Better to be lucky than good". ;D
Good luck with the rebuild.
Happy landings

I saw that i think it was the turbulence caused by the heli. Looked like it caught it and you tried to correct it. The G2 moves a lot of air compared to my FP helis. Good luck with the rebuild!!!

That happened to meeeeee too when I first got my Walkera 35c. The clone of your G2. I learned a bunch from that mishap, as you will find out soon. The boom is inexpensive thankfully. The boom bent on mine from a wind gust flipping it over and when it hit the thing hit a 4x4 "stub" of a fence post (part of an old back yard patio cover) & kinked the boom enough that it would have affected the serpentine belt eventually. I took it apart and as I did I carefully put all screws in a magnetic dish so i didn't lose nuttin. Had none leftover either. I usually DO! Musta put it together right because she flew again. Yours will too! I have learned the first rule of Heli's which is "ALWAYs BE PREPARED ---------- to fix em!!"
