Anyone cosidering the purcahse of an Esky Esmart 600 heli might want to reconsider. I have read several posts on other forums talking about a shortage on main parts. Esky Claims that they are going to start manufacturing this heli again in May, but have heard rumors of a new model also. This is a reply recived from Kyle at RCsupersales. Hi Randy, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Been swamped with emails lately. Yes the E-Smart is being discontinued. If you want a great low cost helicopter I highly recommend the Swift 16: store.rcsupersales.net/servlet/-strse-4737/Century-Swift-16-ARF/Detail?sfs=64ed8f87 Low cost and a great helicopter. Let me know if interested and we can put something together for you. Take care and please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you for your business and support. There's a lot going on in the rumor mill about the Esmart. I'd have a tendency to believe Kyle over the rumors.

Wow! And Esky is sending out emails apologizing for the lack of parts saying they are about to ramp up production!
I would think that a distributor like that would know, unless they are fed up with Esky. That really chaps me if Esky is saying that and not really DOING that. Kent

I tend to agree that the model is being discontinued. The reason being that the Cinese usually replaces parts by March to its distributors. At least that has been the story for the last two years. If the parts are still missing, then there is a good chance that the heli is being discontinued.

That's right RTF. They do a model change over right after the Chinese New Year (country literally stops for 2 weeks) so new products start arriving in early spring. That would also include any continuation of old product.
