Ok been flying my blazing star all winter long having a great time with it so this morning I get up early for my morning coffee and a fly with the bs got it all set up ready to fly' Took a sip of coffee and pushed the throttle up the BS lifts off and immediatly starts spinning uncontrollable so I set it down and check it all over cant find anything visual wrong with it so I spin it up again this time it don't even want to lift off the floor so I guess it's time to turn it to brushless too! Hope the tax man finds me some cash to spend on my heli's soon.

sounds like one of the blades is not spinning properly. probably have a bad motor like your thinking.

Bummer phil. More than likely a bad Motor(s). The motors on those things aren't top of the line. Replace both at the same time. You might want to look into going brushless.
Happy landings

Yep am going brushless as soon as the tax man pays up Rtf is going to get a lot of business when that happens two birds are going brushless I think oh and the battery was brand new so I think that is eliminated as part of the problem

Yeah, the battery wouldn't make it spin.
Happy landings

It's one of the motors probably failing. That's one main reason to go brushless. The carbon brushed motors eventually fail but the brushless motors virtually last forever. A pair of carbon brushed motors cost $19.99 and are good for a couple dozen flights. One motor eventually starts to fail. The brushless is expensive upfront but will cost a lot less over time. Plus they really don't heat up, so you can fly all day just by swapping out your LIPO Battery.
