Pretty mild stuff but I try not to fall into that sim quagmire where you do all this crazy 3D stuff that you can't do for real. You aren't learning anything that way.My sim flights look almost exactally like my real flights.I learn better that way.

Kinda close there at the 3 minute mark Ern. If your real flight is anywhere close to this you got it going on. Dave

That's the way I learn too. Too many things in one session and I'm confused. As soon as the new computer gets here (been waiting a month now Dell suucs) I think I'm going to order the Phoenix.
Happy landings

Phoenix is definately the best I have any experience with. I've tried Real Flight 4.5,Clearview and Phoenix.
I love the tutorials.

How much is the pheonix sim and where did you get it MC? I've got Clearview, and it works pretty well for me...

It was $130 and I bought it online. phoenix-sim.com/news.htmI've had Clearview too. It's a good sim but Phoenix blows it away. Phoenix has a dedicated model in my DX7. I can take the settings from my Trex and put them to the sim model.Like say you have 11.5 degrees of positive pitch and 10.5 negative pitch on your real heli. You can set the sim model up that way.You can check your headspeed on the real one and set it to match on the sim. If you feel like the sim is different in any way than the real thing you can change that aspect to match. You can even get a free download to do custom paint to make the sim look like the real thing. You can even set stuff like friction so you can slide land in grass or have it grab the heli and wreck it. Long story short,,,I love my Phoenix sim ;D
