I am looking at stuff for my Flasher build and I remember people mentioning the xm hobbies gyro on deal extreme being a GY-401 clone or something along those lines. With this said, who has used this particular gyro and how has it performed? Thinking of getting all the supplies from there as I'm in no hurry to get the stuff. Also gonna get the following I think: Motor www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20082ESC www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13029Tail servo www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20091ESC program card www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15150Also gonna get that CNC tail they have for $20 to replace the plastic/metal one on the flasher. Thoughts or comments about this stuff would be appreciated if you have any experience with it. Heli pricing for those interested is $60 for the kit, $119 for electronics and new tail (excluding the rx and cyclic servos that I have). Gonna then cost about $45 for the 6100e to bind to my DX6i. So all up $225 plus $36 for the metal EXI servos I have, so really $261 for a good practice heli with decent parts, not bad. Will be a little while until I build this though, likely next month as I have a wedding in California to go to so putting money into that this month.

Hey Kiwi,
I have that Gyro and have had good results with it.
No problems at all.

Thanks Ranben. I hear that the mystery ESC's are decent too so thought I would give it a go since it is a combo 40A ESC and BEC. Now I want to order the stuff and get it underway, addicted to building and modding!! Just need to convince the wife though and thats a harder obstacle to overcome. Especially since I just bought a new frame and a bunch of parts for my T-rex and HB!!
