I tried a new tail cam idea. The camera is waaaaaay too heavy so I can't do any nose to tail tricks.I tried but when I got verticle I had a really hard time getting it back in control. I decided to just do some cruizin' and see how it turned out. You can see how fast I run out of room in my yard. You can't hardly tell I'm moving but I'm on one end of the yard one second and the other the next. I'll find a lighter camera because I love this camera angle. You can watch the swash as it moves. Sorry for the boring flying.Hope the music makes up for it ;D

The abrupt landing was because I heard the flutter of a broken linkage.Turns out,the tape on my blade ripped loose.Wheeeew.
With the camera on the tail wing I had to move my elev. trim all the way forward and even hold forward on the stick the whole time.Made it hard to do anything cool. You get the idea though.I'll find a better camera.lol...

Nice Vid Ern yeah I like that angle. I need to try and find a camera, it would be nice to get the Heli point of view. Smooth flying.
Cheers.

No.It is actually a (whispering) Wal Mart branded camera. It was inside the nose but I moved it to the tail for the day. It was on the nose the day of the big crash and I was using it.Unfortunately, the battery had died before the wreck. One of the first things that went through my mind was...THAT is going to be a cool video ;D But alas, dead battery and no video. Here is a look at the wreck. You can see the camera lieing on the table next to my Instinct cell phone for a reference to size.

I don't have a scale but it is about the same as an average cell phone. It is light enough to use mid-ship but it has too much leverage back on the tail fin.

Great job, Mckrackin! That was awesome, and really nice flying, too!
What's amazing is how there is very little vibration going on. Either you have that heli balanced super well, or that camera is really well shielded! Kent

There's zero vibrations or wobbles or wags.Won't allow it My car is falling apart but I spare no expense on the heli ;D Actually,to be honest, the car got me for $414.57 today.lol.... New hub and bearing assembly on the right front. Second new one on that side and the other side has had two new ones already. And now my electronic power steering is taking a dump. Already replaced the intermediate steering shaft now they have to change the whole column Never ever ever buy a Pontiac G6
