Pics in Doozer's threads will be unavailable

Doozer has changed his hosting site for his pics, so any that are currently viewable in his threads will be blanks sometime this weekend.

He apologizes for the inconvenience, but replacing all the URLS for each of his many pics would be a gargantuan task. He will, however, make his new site known once it's setup and all his pics can be viewed there.

Maybe I can pick away at converting some of those URLs over as time allows. I'll see once his site is up.

if he sets his site up properly he wont have to change the URL id's for the images within his site. all he has to do is properly move the main site and all images so they are in the same folders ect and they will reappear properly as soon as the site is active on the new servers.

that is one reason for good html when designing a site, rather then pointing at pics via http you point at them via the sites folder system so when moving servers the site is only down with minimal changes.

Hey Sol,

It would realy be great if you could figure out how to save the "DX6i Set Up" pics.

A lot of work went into that and its a lot of help for someone starting out.

Yep, as soon as he gives me the URL of his new site, I'll do what I can to maintain some continuity. I'd hate to lose all that info, too.

<edit> I just looked at the threads and unfortunately the old URL's are gone. All that is left is an [image] placeholder. Now I don't have a reference. Might be impossible to re-create the links.

I have access to his pics, now...at least most of them. I've started to update the DX6i thread and will start on the others as soon as time allows.

Some pics can't be found, so I've tried to fill in with some of my own to maintain continuity. Stay tuned.
