We've all seen that the Zippies are going to come out with connectors other than Deans. Seems they have decided on a 4mm connector of some sort. So far they have not provided an adaptor from this new connector to Deans, so it's going to be "DIY" Also interesting is this little snippet from RCSupersales on their Zippy FlightMax page... " Discharge Plug: 4mm Bullet-Connector * Please note we recommend not using the Discharge plug these batteries come with. We highly recommend soldering on a high quality connector such as Deans Ultra." Looks like global warming is going to get a little boost with all the soldering irons firing up at once.  |

After I get through with a couple of other more fun projects, I'll probably give the EC3 connectors a try. My bet is that they are infinitely better from a soldering point of view, and they should be functionally the same or better as far as amperage. Thanks for your input, guys ;D
