I have a couple of Questions for Thunder Power T6 or AC6 users.
First, I have one battery, my 3c Hyperion 2200 35c, that always charges a little hot. About 12.67 according to my Fluke. It balances pretty well. Is there a way to set the final charge voltage? The T6 is showing 12.60 as final, but that isn't accurate. I would like to turn it down to around 12.58 or so and see what I get.
Second, I have a Ni Cd for my TX. How do I set this up to discharge and charge? The instructions are useless and I don't remember seeing anything about this in the tutorial video.
EDIT: I checked a Zippy and it is a little high also -- 12.65. Is there a pot that can be adjusted? Or is it even worth messing with?
Thanks Guys!

I have the same charger and have the same issue. But from what I have read, that small extra voltage it over charges will not hurt. I have placed a charged battery back on the charger after about 1h, and it has discharged to under 12.60 Hope this helps.

Andy said a few hundreths were no big deal, but I wonder about that. I'm sure he doesn't want to open pandora's box, either. Someone, I think AKPhil, was getting low voltages. BTW, I took the T6 apart. No pot to adjust.

Hyperion suggests only charging to 90-95%. They say battery longevity will be increased. Personally, 90% might be a bit low and 95% results in only a 3.99v charge, but they should know, I suppose. I've pulled the plug on a few of mine when they balance to 4.1v/cell. Works ok if you happen to be keeping an eye on the charge process, but a PITA if you're flying and charging. I've also considered a better charger. One that can put out 10a and also where you can manually regulate the top voltage. I'd like to take full advantage of all the Hyperion features.

not trying to hijack but... What kind of connectors do those Hyperion packs have on the balance leads?? Do they plug right in to the T6/AC6 chargers or do they require an adapter?

They have their own style of balance connector, Tony. I believe it's the same as the Polyquest.
I got a XH to Polyquest adaptor from HC, but haven't tried it yet. Just came today.

Tony, I cut the Hyperion balance connector and wired a standard "Align" connector on. That is what all my stuff uses. Works ok. I might have gone the adapter route, but the LHS had the Align ones. I have very little patience ;D

I thought they were different but wasn't sure.
BT,
Sounds like something I would do. ;D I too am a little light in the patience department...just ask my wife. ;D
