This bird has to be kinda tough . I have gone through 6 sets of blades on this heli still flying but i noticed it was getting harder to control . So i decided to look it over and see if something was coming loose and what i decided was causing the looseness while hovering was the blade grip bearings they have had so many strikes that they were damaged you actually move the blades up and down with out moving any thing else so this morning I changed the bearings in the grips and did a test hover and yep wound up with a lot more control and while I was at it i put 225 mm CF blades back on the bird imho it works better. Thought i would share

Good going phil. They are tough little birds. I put mine through hades. Surprised you didn't bend the feathering shaft with all those blades strikes.
Happy landings

I recently did the brushless mod and the Blue CNC Metal head upgrade, black composite carbon fiber blades, with the super skids 300 landing gear system , adapter 22, and the super skids titanium tail boom. I also used an 11.1 volt 1,300Mah 20c LIPO for more flight time (7-10 minutes) as the brushless motor stays warm after flying. The heli flys great. My only problem is that the tail motor wears out after about 30 flights on average just like the tail motor on a typical Walkera #4/Exceed Falcon 40/E-SKY HBFP heli.
