Now that you've made it over here, I can keep track of the progress on the helicomman. Although I'm gona have to invest in the "rigid" for 685.00 because I am going 4 blade/no flybar. I'll let you know how it's going. Ernie, nice to have you here. Dave B. desert Vacation

Bump up a thread. According to Mc it will! It's better than an co-pilot its a real auto pilot. Will keep your G2 on station even in the wind and allow you to fly with near impunity.
Happy landings

Impunity??? I thought we were asked to dumb it down a smidge. A Helicommand will actually fly the heli. The better the heli, the better it will work.
Anyone use the CPD4? Well,I'm told the Hellicommand is a hundred times better. The CPD4 is an "Infrared sensor system"... It is awesome for its own application. It will work and work to hold the heli level.
The helicommand will work to hold the heli level and in one position. If the wind blows it will fight it and stay put. If you throttle up to wide open and try to flip over on your back,it will take over and hover inverted. If you let it.
Boys,I'm telling you, when this system is delivered to me,I will be able to tell you if the rumors are true.I will go throttle 100% with a full back on the right stick. When it is about 100* over...I'm going to let it go. This whole deal is just another experiment. An expensive one I admit. But I have seen so many youtube vids and heard so many rumors that there is no way I can ever sleep again without actually trying it.
Wish me luck ;D
