Attaboy Elk. You've come a long way in the last couple of months. At times it was hard to tell the heli from those damm big bugs you got out there.

Pretty cool Elk. You are progressing fast. Can I suggest turning the HC way down or even off in 3D. It makes your stunts look a bit choppy.Notice how it tried to snap level inverted in the middle of a flip?
The FFF is awesome.Really got me pumped now. Great job!!!
Keep it on video ;D

Yea Ernie, as soon as the 'pucker-factor' decreases a little I'll try turning it off. If you noticed, when I flip or hold inverted, I'm losing the tail a little. My gyro holds fine, it's just me losing the tail on the stick,,I'm glad she didn't video me during the flight,,,I use a LOT of 'body-english' and make some crazy faces while flying. I take off with the HC off,,,you can see when the heli gets about 10 feet up it jerks a little when I turn it on. I usually fly a couple minutes with it off before I start doing anything fast.
I've had him going about twice as fast as what you saw,,,and that wasn't even close to what it could do.
My heart starts pumping when I drive up to the launch-site, by the time I get him airbourne the adrenaline is really going,,,by the time I land my knees are banging together. Then I'm high for over an hours. ;D I have two batteries but I haven't tried back-to-back flights yet,,,no way,,,I have to wait a couple hours.
I've been lucky,,the weather has been great,,,I've flown Moat-Gator every day for the last 9 days, a couple times I flew 4 times in the same day. You would think I'd start losing the gitters by now,,,,,nope,,,,I'm a junkie!!!! ;D

I noticed the tail jerks. I wondered if it was the gyro or nerves. You go through about a month's worth of adrenalin during those first 3D flights. Two batteries and they'd have to haul me off on a stretcher. ;D
Happy landings

I thought maybe you were over thumbing the rudder a little.lol... It gets easier. You don't need to yank back to negative.Alot of times I don't even get negative.Closer to nuetral.I pull some negative if I plan to stay inverted a while of course.lol...
Otherwise, that is some really good flying.Your winter simming really paid off huh.

I just got to get over the jitters,,,,twice now I've went inverted in normal flight mode. Luckily I haven't froze and quickly re-grouped. My adrenaline gland has to be worn out by now,,,,holy carp!,,,do I get a rush with this thing. Once I can calm down,,I can work on finnese. I've flown about 20 flights in the past 10 days,,,I need to calm down,,,but I hope I don't,,,,,what a rush!! ;D

Just my preference
