OK guys it ain't pretty and the quality of the vid is not that great and the tail has a bad wag I need to work on but want ya'll to be the first to see ;D
Love it and just love to hear the blades beating against the air. It only lasted a little over a minutes but it felt like an hour.

Great 1st flight. I couldnt see the tail wag. Just looked like to me a very sensitive tail with too much input. ;D ;D Oh I love that sound too.....

Nice. I saw the same on the tail. Like it's drifting and you're correcting. Looks more like a trim issue than gyro.
Keep it up.3D awaits ;D

First flights don't get any better than that. Try taking your rudder input out for a few seconds and see what happens to the tail.
Happy landings

Thanks guy.......man this is way cool. Did not think it could get any better than the Falcon but this is night and day.
Your right Erni the nose wants to drift in a clockwise direction and I have trimed on the remote until it starts to drift in the other direction. Is there a trim on the gyro that I need to work on to get it to hold. After all I thought that was what this kind of gyro is suppose to do, hold your heading. Man do I have a lot to learn....again. Thats cool though.

Dave, the Tx gyro trim is just real sensitive. Do you have the 12 dip off and the Tx in programming mode; blue light on the Tx when you're making the trim adjustments?
I have played with my trim for hours to get it solid. The best I've ever been able to do is get a super slow CW nose drift. Never had it hold absolutely solid for more than a few minutes.
Happy landings

BTW that's the V2 gyro trim dial not the rudder trim.

The stock gyro on a G2 won't ever keep a solid heading. Like 19 says, just get it close.

my new cp v2 needed a lot of adjustment to get the head settings lined up - the used cp i bought was just as bad as far as out of adjustment - after i set it up - when i did get it off the ground the gyro was to tight with tale wag - DAVE just trim it up and and some fun ;D = VIC

Well tried what 19k suggested and it did help then the battery died Now I have to recharge the only battery I have at this time. Did notice the wag after the small adjustment I made, think I can live with it only time will tell as I wait for recharge. Gota get some more batteries for this bird. Dave

I actually keep my gyro on the ragged edge of a tail wag. When the throttle gets up around 90% it'll straighten out. You'll never know till you start flying in idle up though ;D

Pretty good first attempt, Dave. You may want to get it up just a tad higher to get it out of ground effect and then determine what needs adjusting. And "tail in" orientation is easier to control. You get a better idea of what the nose is doing when you can eye it up from tail to nose.
