Here's another flight. The pros of it are that I actually capture some of the 3D in the view of the camera. It was a great little flight, had some inverted hovering and some fly bys with flips and some stall turns. Cons are that only some of it is actually visible, I still was a little shaky, and you'll notice at the end that I set it down a lot harder than I should have. The tail rotor hit the ground and the teeth on the umbrella gears ripped up. I ordered some parts to be rushed to me, so I'll be right back up next week. Getting some spare incase this happens again too.

LOL,,,,you fly like me,,,,,I can tell you are using 'body-english' when your head-cam is tilted,,,too funny! We may have forgot to tell you,,those umbrella gears are the weakest-link on this heli. If you didn't see them, here's the package deal; www.readyheli.com/H60147_01_Align_TREX_600_Torque_Tube_Front_Drive_G_p/h60147-01.htmA little cheaper than buying them one at a time. You'll get good at changing these,,,,takes me about 11 minutes,,,LOL. It doesn't take much,,,,just catch the tail in some tall grass and they strip. Great flying!!!!!! How's the motor temp on yours? Randy

Great job. Just do like me and buy a bunch of spare gears and you'll never break another one ;D

Yeah, I'm getting the body into it. Good thing the camera doesn't show the faces I'm making though. You guys did forget to mention about those dang umbrella gears, but no worries, I've got 2 on the way. I got the full package ones though, not that set of 3. When they're back in stock I'll have to pick some up, that gears stripped pretty easily. So Randy, any way you could break down that little 11 minute procedure for me? What's the best way to do it with turning the lease amount of screws and releasing the least amount of swear words? I haven't checked the motor temp. I can't keep my hand on it when it's done, I know that. I should prolly get one of those infrared temp gauges. Might be cool to make a small board with an electronic temp sensor and transmitter and put a display on the radio transmitter that can show the pilot real time temperature of their motors. Hmmm...
