Actually it's 1.04 kilo.
That's 2.3 lbs.
More than 25% heavier than the 5000 6S I have now.
Higher voltage batteries have a lower current draw so huge capacities aren't needed.
I got 9 minutes out of my 2200mah 6S on my 500.
The 2500mah had more zip but still the same flight time.
I'm being told that 3850-4400 is a good lipo for 8S.

I sure don't have batteries figured out yet. The two batteries I have for my 600 are a 20C 4500mAh and a 25C 5000mAh,,,the difference is about 25 seconds flight time,same performance,,,the price difference is about $40.
I'll let you figure it out,,,,LOL,,,let me know what you come up with!! ;D

20C is fine until you start really banging on your heli. 20C is probably fine for my skill level but I'm trying hard to outgrow it ;D My pack I fly now is 25C and is coming back pretty hot now. My 2500 pack for my 500 was a 35C.I flew it a lot harder than the 600 but I'm getting more ballsie every pack. I'll probably go 30 or 35C with my next step. With an exception.I'm getting a 5000mAh 6S 25C Flightmax with my next clear check just to have more stick time. If I go straight to 8S I'll be stuck in the same boat I'm in now.ONE PACK!!!! I'll only go 8S when I can buy 2 packs(8S) , 8S charger and HV ESC on the same order  More to follow... |

Screw the clear check.lol...
I pulled the trigger just now on the Flightmax 5000mAh 6S 25C.
I even payed $25 for 3-5 day delivery even though it's back ordered.That way if it's out of stock for a month I'll have it in 33-35 days instead of 55-60 days.
More than likely it'll be more like a week or two.
