That's cool, BT! Is that a Cicata killer? It sure looks like one. They live in the ground. Look for a hole about the size of a quarter in the ground, and you might get a few to come out to play!! Those are rare here in central Texas, but we have lots of Turantula killers here. They are about the same size, but have red tail and wings. These things are NASTY, if they get pizzed at you! They hurt worse than a scorpion sting! I hope you get to chop up a bunch of them dam things! Best, Kent I believe it is a cicata killer. I have had several dig holes by my front door for some reason ever couple of years. I was sitting on the porch looking at one of the holes, which are very deep, BTW. I was showing it to my 5 year old and telling her about the creature that digs the hole. I had just covered it over and told her the big thing would redig when it came back. Right then, that huge monster landed about 2 feet from me and was not happy about the hole being gone. I told my daughter to slowly go back into the house. She ask me why I wasn't going. It was because I was afraid to move . Dam thing stayed there for another 5 minutes before I dared ease away. About an hour later, it came back with a big cicata and dug a new hole. Its pretty easy to find their holes. The topsoil around here is black clay and it is around three feet deep around my house before you get into some red dirt. I will see a big red dirt pile where they have dug down and brought the red dirt up.

I was out real early the other day and there were flying bugs all over the place. The purple martins were doing extreme 3D catching as many as they could. I put the G2 up in a hover and the purple martins loved it. It seems that the bugs were compacted around the rotor wash and that was like a bug round up for the purple martins. ;D
Happy landings

Hey guys I know this thread is a little old but I think I have a freakin hornets nest in the field that I fly in. Today I was flying my g2 and 2 or 3 of them kept trying to attack my g2. A few times they went through the blades and left blood stains but I dont think they died. I hope we can get rid of them because the field is right outside my house and super convient.

r/c, I don't know how you get rid of hornets, but it sounds like the G2 is a pretty good exterminator. ;D
Just be careful. Everything in this thread about how aggressive they are is true.
Happy landings

Happy landings Yeah if I could only find there hole with out getting stung. Then I could spin the blades up over the hole and watch them die. ;D
