Well I broke down and ordered a tail motor for the eagle 50 i waite a week for it to show up I was surprised when it actualy did so cut into the box and look at the new motor and i was not dissapointed it was the wrong motor it had some part number crossed out and the right number hand written so i went to xheli and looked up the original numbers and low and behold it is a motor for a falcon 40 it has an eight tooth pinion allready installed on it well the eagle takes a 10 tooth pinion to run the tail but there is a lesson to be learned here ;D that is that this falcon 40 motor also fits an efite 400 same motor also got a hold of xheli and they are going to send the right motor at no charge and told me to just keep this one not to send it back well i guesws time will tell if all this works out I will not hold my breath while waiting just thought u would like to know

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Well, does the wrong motor even work? Nice to hear they are still doing business as usual.  |

it fits in but the tail is slower with the 8 tooth pinion so i have to swap out pinion to the ten tooth pinion and without heat sink will give me 1.5 flights to the motor with heat sinks installed I'm still counting the flight's if i don't damage the motor taking the pinion off tried to heat the last one of those pinions off but damaged the motor doing so the next one i filed the pinion off that worked but almost damaged the motor putting the 10 tooth on but that one is still working so far. Oh by the way am using 3 heat sinks all the way across  |
