Hey guys. I've been asked if the Helicommand will work on a G2 and other mcppm helis.
I asked Helicommand myself about the H1 application and got this response... Hi Ernie,
a H1 linkage is fine with the HeliCommand. Please see manual for details.
best regards
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) i.A. Joachim Eulefeld

I have the utmost faith in this company and plan to buy from them regularly from now on.
Ernie

I have asked them for a link to the manual and I'm waiting for their reply. In the meantime they have given me this little tid bit from their site...
HeliCommand is a new kind of attitude stabilisation and positioning technology. Now available for the first time for model making applications and professional RC helicopters.
A rangeof fully-featured auto pilots at reasonable prices!
High-Tech - devoloped an manufactured in Germany!
Applications for HeliCommand:
Expert model pilots: Improved precision and security. 3D support. Stabilisation for flybar-less helicopters and scale models ("RIGID" version).
Helicopter beginners: Stress-free hovering and circuits right from the outset. Reduces the incidence of crashes, and therefore costs.
Commercial pilots: Precision flying for aerial photography, film, surveying, surveillance, etc.. Ideal support for long-range flying. Positional stability in all control axes at the hover. Failsafe with fully automatic landing (optional with HeliCommand-Profi)
Practice and fun: Immediate success and learning - instead of frustrating and expensive crashs. Adjustable degree of stabilisation, including 3D inverted flight stabilisation.
Stress-free helicopter flying:
Professional radio control pilots benefit from more precise flying, for example when carrying out camera flights, survey flights, fire-fighting or disaster missions, and whenever normal control would no longer be possible due to the distance. The Profi version stabilises all three axes, provides autonomous hovering and even automatic landings (GPS projected). Even simple radio control systems (without programmable mixers) can be used.

Notice that they don't call it a co-pilot but rather an "Auto-Pilot".
I'm assured that with a lack of input from the pilot the Helicommand will take over and fly the heli itself in a stationary hover.Even inverted.
I am pacing around in the cyber lounge of my bank right now waiting on the money to get mine ;D

Isn't anticipation half the fun? If I had one of those babies coming I'd need to wear big boy diapers. ;D
Happy landings

It's a little wierd.I almost always post about my own work. I have read so many posts about the "PROs"...I am curious. I have a little less than two years as a builder. Are these pro's that much better? I'm willing to bet...."They are".... I'm going to spend just a tick over two grand to find out. Aren't you guys curious as well? I will fly what I'm given and then try my own set-up. Maybe....If they are as good as they say,,,I will learn from that and move the info forward.
