Getting a 450 kit

Hey all, Im thinking about getting a 450 kit.... Just not sure which one to get. I really like the flasher kit, but want to get everyones input....The kit has to be trex compatible...
Im leaning towards an all metal head and CF frame. I dont want to spend too much, cause I saving for a Spektrum Tx. This is going to be a slow build.
Oh was also thing about this frame too

My advise, besides the Trex compatible part, would be to do like you mentioned and get the CNC and CF included in the kit. It is cheaper in the short run and you will want it in the long run. I didn't have the cash to do it when I first ordered my EXI 450 SE.

BTW, I have no regrets about the EXI. There is plenty of info on the forum to deal with it's few quirks like that useless plastic tail and the control rod being too long. It flies great (if there is an adequate pilot available ;D).

Well I narrowed my choices, after 3 days of almost all day researching..... Its the EXI se kit and flasher pe kit.
Both have metal heads, Flasher has a fiberglass frame, exi carbon fiber... Flasher has a CF boom, exi has an aluminum. Flasher is $129, exi $149, but it comes with a case.
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tough choice. If it were mine; I'd go with the flasher just because it's not the usual build around here.

Although I have no experience with either, the Flasher 450 kit looks really nice, I think I would choose it over the EXI. Elk showed me a pic of his Flasher 450 and it's sweet.

I don't know what prices you're looking at but in my case,I bought the $39 EXI kit as well as the $39 metal head and tail upgrade.All from xheli believe it or not.All said and done with shipping and all,it was $96 delivered.

I gotta say,that lil bird is a flying heli for sure.I love it and my Trex 600 has been grounded since I got the EXI flightworthy.

Just thought I'd throw that in the hat.lol...
