Well, being a weapons challenged Canuck, WTH are they firing out of those things? BTW, Sol, one of my ancestors was President James Polk. He ran his campaign on a theme of going to war with Canada (Briton) over the territory between northern California and the Alaskan border. His slogan was "Fifty-four Forty or Fight". He backed down after the election and cut a deal to put the border where it is now. Just think. If no compromise, you could have been saying "President Obama" right now ;D ;D

Hell, we say "President Obama" now, anyway. We're so dependent on the US (and vice versa to a degree) that anything that ripples in the US affects Canada eventually. Not a bad relationship, for the most part. Makes North America fairly strong, overall. Just another tidbit re US/Canadian relationships...75% of Canada's population lives within 100 miles of the border. That makes it rather difficult to not be affected by "big brother" ;D Now, if we can only get California to start paying for the electricity we send them... Man, talk about a hijacked thread

Well, if it is any consequence, I started the thread ;D I like Canada. Now I shall not comment publically on California, though. Maybe if my forefather had had more foresight, he would have threatened war if Mexico didn't keep it..... Okay, I have officially crossed over into Bar and Grill topic. Back to heli wars and roman candles... Disclaimer: For those who do not know the author of this post, he is a smart azz Texan who should not be taken seriously.
