Well, I was reading about tail blades a while back and stumbled upon a video about the K&B ones from a year or so ago, from Finless Bob. So, I decided to try a set on my 450. They were cheap, too! The ones I tried and still fly are flourescent yellow! What a bizarre color, you might think, but you can actually SEE the tail in the air from a moderate distance!!! That bright yellow circle is AWESOME for orientation! The flying of the heli is also far more than I thought. These caused my 450 to piro faster than any other tailblade that I have ever used. I had to turn down the endpoints to slow the piro rate!! Wow! So, I bought a set for my 500. These are equally as impressive visually, but these didn't affect the piro rate as much. For me, not being a very good pilot yet, I just love the ability to see the tail better. The fact that these really do affect the tail more than I can use is a bonus. Price: 5 out of 5 Visibility: 5 out of 5 Tail authority: 5 out of 5 Crash survivability: Unknown. I haven't crashed where these were hurt yet! Final score: 5 out of 5! Here's a picture that shows the airfoil a little. Pretty interesting..

Kent,,,I have the flo-yellow ones for my 500,,,,,and I have the flo-green on my 600(see canopies in product review),,,,my canopy is yellow so I put green on the tail. I agree with you,,,they are great.
