Well, The EXI 500 kit from X-Heli just came in the mail today. Threw her together really quick for some photos. Got a long way to go on this one. Still need to buy all the electronics and a TX. Just finished the basic assembly:  The fleet:  My shelves:  T-Reks with the T-Rex clone:  |

Sweet deal Gabe. You picking out some electronics yet? The Scorpion HK 3026-1400 or 1600 motor is made for that heli. I'm putting the 3026-1400 with a 15T pinion on my 500.
Don't skimp on this one, the cheap stuff really shows itself on the 500. The Align DS510s on the cyclic and DS520 for the tail are great.
I'm using Futuba S9257 servos all around,,,but they are pricey and overkill actually. Scorpion ESC s are great but non in stock right now,,,I just ordered the Castle Creation HV 85 Amp ESC for mine(overkill again).
And check out my posting on 'products review-misc' for a sweet Fusuno canopy,,,only $25!
Can't wait to hear your reaction to a bigger heli,,,they are way more stable and fun.
When can we see you on ECW again? I never watched the westling production shows before,,,,,it's fun rooting for someone we know!! I'm a UFC fanatic,,,ever thought about that?

Aren't those things just incredible compared to any lesser animal? I mean they are really strong and precise.
I absolutely love my 500, but I still also love to fly the 450.
You can see what I ended up with on mine in the "Your Heli Setup" section. Mine flies smooth as glass with a TON OF POWER!
Man, I can't wait for you to fly yours!

Yup yup, Dlan! It is the Falcon 400 in the foreground. Just got the new tail boom and the SE canopy in the mail today and slapped everything on. She flies as good as she will ever get without upgrading the electronics. I'd rather spend the money on the 500 right now.
As far as ECW goes Elk, I should be on this Tuesday on the SyFy network and then again on Thursday on Superstars on WGN. Thanks for watchin'!
Akent, I think I'm gonna carbon copy your build as the funds come in. It sounds like you have it dialed in pretty sweet. Thanks for all the links man - that will make my life so easy.
