Hey guys
I know it's kinda lame, but this is a video of me with my little bee after 3 weeks of practising hovering.

Thanks kindly It's amazing how much better she handles with the training gear removed and the super skids on instead of stock landing gear. Will be starting side-in hovering soon.. *GULP* Colin

Nice going. Three weeks is pretty quick. With the Super Skids it looks absolutely awesome.

Thanks for those kind comments, it has to be said that I am not a complete noob though. I have had a lama V4 for about 4 months that I practised with quite a bit, but the HBFP is an entirely different kettle of fish. I also have a HBK3 that I take out from time to time (no crashes yet) and a Blackhawk 450SE that needs a spindle shaft and some ball links(coming next week from Ka-Planes). That 450 scares the hell out of me! When I got it, it was a gift and I knew NOTHING about rc heli's at the time. So I took it out of the box, and one of my colleagues at work plugged the battery in without the TX being on....it spooled up to full power, took off and hit the ceiling at work! Thank god nobody was close by! But she landed upside down on the floor and hasn't flown since, but all I can see is a damaged ball link and the spindle shaft looks like a "U" shape So hopefully she will be back in the air next week with me crapping my pants as I attempt my first flight with her. Thanks again guys! Colin

Thanks I will post a video of my Blackhawk 450 once I fix her, then you'll see a Canadian crapping his pants (Not literally I hope). I am thinking it's not a huge difference from my King 3, right? The 450 is not that much bigger, and I can handle the King 3...kinda lol. I guess it's all in my mind, there is still the "fear factor" when it comes to a larger heli. I can't believe my HBFP used to scare me ;D Happy flying Colin

Hey nun, I've got the BH 450 too. Finally, someone to compare notes with. Nothing but a bunch of EXI and Align goons on this forum. ;D ;D ;D Trust me. There is nothing to fear with the BH. The BH will be so easy to fly compared to the HBFP you will be stunned. Happy landings
