So you think it is a helicommand issue or a lesson learned to turn it on before flight?

Wow,,,,you didn't have a chance did you? I always power up with the HC on,,,,and take off and hover for about 15 seconds,,,then turn it off. I'll fly until my nerves get to me then switch it back on. I haven't flown a whole pack with it off yet,,,,but I'm getting there!

Heck no.It rolled over even faster than it would had I done it on purpose. You see how fast the servo went down. And the right side servo goes up the same as the left side goes down. It's a full tilt roll and I was only a foot up. It was over the second it started

Sorry Ernie,,,,,mine just did not do that,,take a look!
It did not budge a bit when I turned the HC on. Has it been a while since you used the set button? If you have changed your trims since the last time you hit the set button,,,,it will still have your old trims in it's memory. I 'think' it will only adopt the current mode trims,,,since each flight mode has it's own trims,,are you in the same flight mode as when you last hit the set button? Just throwing out a couple ideas.
E-mail the HC folks info@helicommand.com If you can't find the problem,,maybe they will do warrenty work and fix it!!

Thanks Randy. That helps.I'm going to send my video and maybe yours to the HC people and see what they think.
First I'll run out and reset it and try again.

Elk just mentioned having a preflight checklist on another thread. That might save a crash or two. ;D
Happy landings
