Well, my Exi 500 tail is a little over 8 inches in diameter. My E-fart's tail is 9.5 inches in diameter. With this one the tail blades are considered small. Kent

thanks Kent guess i need to be more clear was wondering what diameter the tail boom is would like to go metal tail rotor drive system and was wondering if the 500 tail rotor system would fit the the boom i already have or if i need a bigger tail rotor drive system or smaller as the case may be the tail rotor grips just seem loose to me on my nitro would like to tighten them up

Ah, he may be on holidays. RCDButz has a Trex 600 and Akent has the ESmart (which is a 550-600 size). Maybe they can chime in on boom diameters. Or maybe Ernie can remember what his 600 was. <edit> I looked it up, Phil. Boom diameter for the Trex 600 is 21.5mm OD www.helidirect.com/600-carbon-fiber-tail-boom-trex-600-p-5301.hdx

Sorry, I just saw this thread. The Esmart has a 20mm boom diameter and it's 632mm long. The Century Swift also uses a 20mm boom, and their different models use different lengths. Kent
