An idea was brought up today about a member-initiated list of local Fly-ins and events. We usually find out about these events after the fact and it would be great if the members could post a heads-up well beforehand. We can setup a thread specifically for this list if the members see any merit in the idea.
Please note the entries to this list will be from you, the members, as each of you have a better idea of an event that will be held in your area.
Also, indicate if we should include all flying events and not just those that are heli related. Some of the members are interested in both planes as well as helis.

BTW, 19K suggested we try to put together a comprehensive list of Heli clubs in the US and Canada. I'm going to attempt to put together this list, but could use some of your help. Anyone with some links or addresses of local clubs, PM me with the info. I'll get together with Dave and get this setup in one of the forums. This may take some time.

Well, only 6 cast their vote. 2 for helis only and 4 for both, so I can't say the interest level is all that high. This season's events are mostly done already, except for some of the warmer areas, so maybe we can attack this next year. Or maybe not.

I'm not really involved with any of the local (Plano) stuff yet. I'll keep my eyes open, though. I know there two groups, I think both AMA, that fly in the area. One is primarily planks. The other is a mixture of both.
