My ratings of the Mystery Pentium 100a ESC:

Cost: 5 out of 5 stars
(You get what you pay for, unfortunately. I paid $15 for this one on Ebay.)

Reliability: 0 out of 5 stars
(Flew horribly. Caught on fire during a setup attempt.)

Heat generation relative to power used: 0 out of 5 stars
(These run hot even when drawing around 30 amps. And they generate a LOT of heat (in the form of fire) if you try to set them up.)

Super soft startup setting: 0 out of 5 stars.
(It doesn't do this.)

Overall impressions: 0 out of 5 stars!

Score: 0 out of 5 stars. (The 5 stars for cost are offset by the fact that it is not worth the wrapper it came in.)

Would I recommend these to anyone else? Absolutely NOT.

I feel extremely lucky that this didn't destroy my heli or my shop.

Thanks for the review Akent. I was wondering how there 30 amp esc for my g2 would be. I wont be buying one there escs then.
