I have been thinking of getting my first CP And I was thinking of the T-Rex250 but "they" say that mite be tricky to learn on and that a 450 size will be more stable. So i was looking this one. Any one hear have one or know about them? www.furionheli.com/Bob

Nice heli, pricey tho. Did you think about getting a G2, or if you are set on a 450, how about an EXI, or other clone types. They are trex compatible, and a lot cheaper.

I am asking? Yes there is clones and trex compatible. But do they have all the upgrades. I find myself buying helis and buy the time I upgrade them sometimes there double if not more the original cost. I don't mind the installation but I do mind the cost of the upgrades. Bob

I hear you on that Bob. It's easy to spend a bunch on upgrades.
And "they" are right about the Trex 250 not really being a starter CP for most ilots.
The Base EXI's or Blue Rays (Both Trex compatible) you can leave stock for a first CP. Maybe put a metal tail on them. Upgrading then becomes an option as you want more out of the heli. And those upgrades are pretty reasonable so you'll end up with a near Align quality machine for less.
Or, with all the options available on EXI kits you can get most of the good stuff, CF and CNC, depending on what you want to spend.
Same thing with a G2. The G2 won't fly as capable as a 450 though, but they're cheap to buy, fix and upgrade which is what many are looking for in a first CP.
Don't know anyone with a Furion so that may not be Trex compatible and with parts availablity being a key issue to get you back in the air after a crash that's a big consideration, or should be.
Happy landings

2x on what 19000 said. IMO Your 1st Cp shouldn't be top of the line. You might crash it, and have to repair it. The price goes up from there. Better to buy an upgraded clone for half the price and when you have to repair it, its still cheaper then getting a high end cp. In the end its still your choice. Get what you want, regardless of what we say, in the end you'll be happiest. IMO its cheap then better, then top of the line when I know Im good at flying.
