Photo Motor - ACE OBL 43/11-30 H ESC - ACE BLC-75 Gyro - Logitech 2100T Servos - Hyperion DS20-FMD (Cyclic) Hyperion DS20-GMD (Tail) Batteries Used - Zippy-H 20-30C 5000mAh Radio System -AR7000 Rx DX7 Upgrades/Mods - CF fins, Tail boom servo mount Other Set-Up Comments - 10 year old Fiberglass SAB4 blades borrowed from old Raptor .30 V1 Chinese tail weight mod using elongated screw and washers. This heli is like a tank. As solid and steady as my friends Trex 600. Extreamely stable in the wind. Not very much forward speed due to the canopy profile. Attachments:

Good looking heli David. Being a 550 I take it it's somewhere between a 500 and 600. Happy landings 550mm blades. It's akin to the Raptor .30 Nitro. Same size but they did some things different on it like the 90 degree CCPM swash. With the larger battery, it's heavier and very close to the same stability and flight charactoristics of a Trex 600. Different, but very close. |
