I actually got a call from Xheli today. It was obviously a very nice voiced Chinese American. Very good American accent and she sounded nice!
She said that one of the canopies that I had ordered was out of stock.
I asked her if I could go online and look real quick and she said Ok. So, I asked her about a couple that were also sold out. Then I found one that was not sold out. She was great on the phone. Pretty sexy sounding too.
So, we'll see what gets here. I did order some other stuff with that bailout sale. We'll see.
Anyway, I was impressed with the call. And she was actually patient! But I have high speed internet and the whole call probably lasted two minutes. But still, that was impressive, as she probably has a backlog of a few thousand calls to make. Kent

IF they want some serious customers back, they are going to have to do a lot of this. Never talked to them, but I've read the stories. This is the first one I recall about a good phonecall experience. Maybe, just maybe someone is getting a clue?

They must have come to some realization that things weren't as rosy as they would have us believe. When nobody is there now to answer newbie questions and the fact that there are more posts in the Support forum than in the Beginner's, I'm sure a light finally went on.

Every order I have ever placed with them it always asks for a phone number and email. While I have never had a problem getting my stuff I never could figure out why they would not just call or email someone if the items they ordered were out of stock rather than just letting the order hang until the person who placed the order gets all pissed off. I would think they would want to handle these things as quickly and quietly as possible instead of waiting until someone leaves them a little nasty gram on a "public" forum for all their other customers to see. I am glad to see that they are apparently at least trying to do things right now. It may be too little too late, but it is a start.

I was told yesterday that the stuff I ordered on 12/28 was not in stock and they could not tell me when it would come in.

Good for you akent. At least they are trying to get something resolved. I was told today My stuff has been shipped. Only time will tell. I was told my stuff shipped on Monday as well. However after getting pissy on the forum. They admitted the item was on backorder. This was three days after they sent me a shipping notice. I have to also confess that I had a message on my voice mail from xheli. While it was nice to finally see something from them, I still cannot see why I had to go though so much trouble to get the stuff that I ordered. My deal started with an order placed in mid January. Due to the ice storm from hades, I didn't get the order until Feb 2nd. I was all excited because I just got my electricity back that night and then my order shows up! ;D Except that instead of the honeybee king II that I ordered, I get a HBFP Of course from here it becomes the same tail that I have heard from several people. I cannot get a hold of anyone, the only reply I get to my e-mail is a curt - if your having difficulty, go to rcdiscus etc. etc. etc. I finally get someone on the live chat only to be told that they will add my information to the database. To be honest if it wasn't for Andy, xheli would have a mob of people outside the door ready to lynch anyone who steps out. but then I get told that they will not ship the helicopter they were supossed to the first time until I send back the wrong one. I have no problem with returning the item (but not at my expense when they clearly messed up) but now I have to wait another week until the return arrives and then they say they will ship the correct one. So a week goes by, and I get an e-mail with another tracking number. This is at least encouraging. except that 2 days go by with no change in status. I inquire to find out the the heli that I did order is now not in stock. Why did they not put one back when they first admitted that they messed up? I have already paid for it! I have an expected arrival of the 18th. This puts me at around 1 month or so from the time I originally ordered. But I did get a call telling me that the heli I ordered was out of stock and would it be okay to send me the white version instead of the yellow.... I only hope now that this one that is in transit is both the correct heli and that it isn't damaged when it arrives. xheli is going to drive themselves out of business if they cannot fill orders correctly the first time and then if they continue to treat the people who have had problems like they are not important. (sorry for the soapbox, but I at least now feel better)

I ordered an EXI from them on 2-11 and received a shipping notification the same day. Yea.......can you believe that? I checked the tracking and it actually left CA. the next day, so maybe they are seeing the light.

Unfortunately, my order has not left Xheli yet, according to the UPS site. The received billing information was on Feb. 11. I made the order on the 10th. It still hasn't been picked up, or so it says on the UPS site. Bummer. I wonder what the problem is now? Kent

I guess I am one of the luck ones then. I placed my order at about 11:30pm on the 11th and according to UPS it left on the 12th and is due here on the 18th.
