I've decided to go ahead with the G2 project. Now I need an RX that is compatible with my Spektrum DX7 2.4 TX.
Suggestions? Links?
Thanx ahead ;D

Like an AR6100E? If you find a deal, let me know. The only ones that are half way decent in pricing are on eBay. $49 shipped. If I could find a better deal, I'd take 2

Same here. I bought a 6100E and paid $50 from my LHS. I have not found them any cheaper anywhere else.
The 'E' version seems to be more rare. Kent

What kind of heli are you using them on? I need one for an H1 type head like the G2.

AR6100, AR6100E, AR6200, AR7000 = Universal! These will work with any heli ever invented!
The AR6100E has the connectors out the back instead of the side like the AR6100. Kent

Won't the 6100E work on the G2? I know the AR6200 with the remote is better for signal acquisition, but I thought the 6100 was fine for most 450's and lower. Of course, my knowledge is limited in this area.
Looking for one for my Belt and an EXI 450 I just bought. Yeah, yeah, I buckled. ;D
Ooops, Kent beat me to it.

Kent's right they will all work. Not much in the way of deals on them that I've seen.
Happy landings

I'm running an AR6100 on my HBFP. I had an AR6200 on there, but wanted it for a new Exi build. Kent

You will be completely amazed with your new DX7!
I just got mine, but I've had a DX6i for a while. They mostly work the same.
These will work with anything ever invented, and the Rx's are just the way to get there.
This ain't the same as any of those RTF radios that you know.
I can't wait to hear what you think of it. It will take a little studying to figure it out. But it's amazing!
The cool part is that almost all the receiver functions are really handled by the transmitter. And you can set up fail safe settings for the receiver, in case it loses comms. Kent
