My brother got one yesterday. I'm going to give him half his money back for it so I can fly it.lol...
It's a blast to fly but RTF?!? NOT! ;D
Had to move the tail servo about 1/4 inch on the boom. Tail belt was loose. The mounting bracket for the elevator servo flexes so a zip tie is needed to hold the servo still. I removed the receiver and put in one of mine.An AR6100e. That almost gave me a stroke.lol... Trying to get the servos in the right ports with the right reversal settings took me like a dozen tries.I've never had a 120* heli with the elevator servo in the front.
Then I cut off the JST plugs and soldered on some Deans Ultra so I can use my chargers.
Got it all tidied up and took it outside to fly. OMG....Love it ;D
Flew about 7 or 8 minutes and put the 850mAh 2S lipo on charge. I charged it at 1.7 amps. It put back 568mA in 29 minutes.
Tons-o-fun.Well,11 ounces anyway ;D

What's the diameter of the main shaft in that little 250, Ernie?

The main shaft is right at 3mm.

Sounds like a blast ern? Can you buy it ARF? Happy landings I don't know but I think I would get an EXI 250 if I went ARF. The EXI 250 uses larger servos.

The main shaft is right at 3mm. Thanks for that. I'm building a 300 size from scratch based on a 3mm main shaft and the Razor head assy looks like it may work. Identical servo placement as well.

I can't get my caliper in on the shaft so I used the back side of the caliper(the one for inside measurements)and "eyeballed" as close as I could.
I think it's 3mm but it could easily be 3.17mm.
I would say it's 3mm though just for the simple fact that they are easy to get.

Finally got the Razor out for some forward flight. Not bad. The gyro can't really keep up but it's not sloppy. It's pretty low on power too but I never used idle up. Maybe tomorrow ;D
