Here's the good and the bad side of flying...got a new Hitec HS65 tail servo today, put it on and took her outside for testing. I was very impressed, got her tail to hold straight and the difference between the Hitec and the Towerpro I was using is like night and day. So....after 5 minutes of flying I brought her in to land...damn wind pushed her into the ground on her side. Main and feathering shaft bent (surprise surprise), flybar, 2 linkages and one flybar control arm snapped, main blades are toast and I am pretty sure the stabilizer control arm is cracked, I will check later. Might as well get the whole EXI metal head for $29.95 at xheli, that's cheaper than all the parts that broke! That's the first crash in almost 2 months, I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed. Now the wait for parts........ Colin Attachments:

Colin, if you use "UPS standard to Canada" when buying from XHeli, it's cheaper than what they charge for USPS international mail. A lot cheaper.

I ordered a new complete metal head, 3 flybars, 2 booms, 2 sets of main blades, 2 sets of tail blades, 2 main gear, a battery, flybar paddles and a landing gear set. Shipping was $23.09. I didn't think that was too bad, and that was UPS standard to Canada. I think it takes a little longer tho, 7-10 days usually. All that for something that will take me 20 minutes to fix Colin

Sure did. That's better than nothing, but the shipping charge is why I order a bunch of everything at once. The mSR will be getting a workout for a little while anyway. Not disappointed about that, I can tell ya ;D
