This kid from flying high helis is impressing me more all the time. He called me,,,wait did I word that right?Yeah,he Called me today. Since I decided to change my TREX to the flybarless set-up,he had to order the head.He told me this when I bought it.Well he called to tell me there was a ten day back order on that head. He said he could either take the head off his own heli, which is like new he said,or downgrade to a Helicommand 3D,leave the flybar on,and refund me $200.
Or I could always wait another two weeks. Well,I went for the refund and flybar.Hell I've always had a flybar anyway.
Oh,by the way,for you guys considering a Helicommand. He explained to me that the Rigid model is designed for flybarless setup and doesn't work very well with a flybar. So if you plan to buy a Rigid and upgrade to flybarless later, that won't work out well. You'll have to go flybarless right then or go with a 3D model.

Great info.
What's the difference in price, if any, between the rigid and the 3D?

Oh,and David told me he would call every couple of days to keep me in the loop and wants me to call him when it gets here so we can walk through the components together.
How's that for customer care?
I think the word"care"fits better than"support"in this case.
