Looks like it was built and trimmed very nice Ern. I'm really loving the 250 size myself. Handles hard landings much better than a bigger heli, just gotta keep it close because it can get away from you pretty quick outside.
Any chance weather will be clearing up and allowing to you take that outside any time soon?
What all parts do you have put into that thing?

Bumb deal on the weather Ern, I hope you get a nice spell of good stuff so you can take that bird out in a more open area. How's the gyro on that thing, does it feel like it holds pretty well? Looks like a pretty sweet kit to buy RTF or ARF for some FFF and sport flying. Something tells me you're going to want to flip that bird, so I see some servo and gyro upgrades in your future. I like the ds285MG or ds410M for cyclic, and ds290 or ds420 on tail.

I just bought the e-razor 250,,,,holiday deals ya know. Ernie,,,is the stock gyro worth leaving on it? I have a Gaui 210 and a Gy401 I could put on it. Are the servos digital?
I really like cheap parts.

I can dial it in OK. It's pretty sensitive to temperature. I put the heli in the garage for a few minutes before I fly it to cool it off.
When I try a piro in FFF it gets stuck sideways but that is more a lack of power than gyro. It'll also blow around straight when I fly it backwards too fast. Again, power.I'm looking into a Hi power Lipo 2S or maybe even 3S.
I hate the stock TX so a 6100e went in before the first battery.

Go 3S for sure Ern, you won't regret it. Can you throw a 3S on the stock setup? Can the ESC and motor handle it? Pinion? What connector comes on the 2S 850mAh battery? It looks like a JST but I see pictures of a deans too. I have a few 2S 1000mAh w/JSTs I was hoping to use! Oh yea,,,I have a AR6100e standing by too.

I'm not sure what the e-razor equipment can handle, but on the Trex 250 it comes with the 3S setup and it's a beast of a little machine.
It would be worth testing out a spin up to see if your ESC can handle it without getting too hot, and I doubt you'll have problems with the motor/pinion. May have to reprogram the ESC.
I don't have deans on my 250, it's a smaller red one, but either way, you can always use whatever connectors you want if you know how to solder.

The eRazor came with a JST set up and I replaced it with Deans Ultra. The ESC is an 18amp and iffy for 3S. The tiny rotor probably won't pull more than 16-18amps on 3S but I think I'll use a 20amp just to be safe.Maybe not.Who knows.lol...
I think all the stock stuff will be fine.Even the pinion. It's a bit slow on 2S.

I have it set up with 12 degrees both ways. It's hard to check because my pitch gauge won't close on the blades.lol....

Well,,,,,mine sure as hell didn't come 'ready-to-fly',, ,,,,the pitch range is -1 to about +20 degrees. With the swash bottomed out I am barely getting any negative pitch at all. I'm glad I checked before I tried to fly it. Sooooo,,,I said screw it,,,,,I thru in the AR6100e and set the programming so everything works right. In the morning I'll start adjusting the head linkages to get about -10 on the bottom and see where it goes from there. I can tell the pitch curve is going to be criticle,,the servo throws are not very long. Tiny screws,,,,,,, ""my eyes,,,my eyes!!" ,,,,give'n me a headache!!

lol...It is tiny.
I had to do a bunch of "tweaking" to get it right. I think my pitch was about +1 to +13 when I got it.
