Thought I'd record a quick little video of me hovering the Novus CP in my kitchen. This one has the metal head upgrade and the brushless hot rod kit from wowhobbies with a 20C battery.
The brushless kit makes this thing quick! It's hard sometimes just to stay on it, and when the battery goes down, it gets even harder to maintain control.
When the wind gets down to absolutely NOTHING then I will take it outside.

Flying it in that small an area you're fighting the heli's own turbulence. You're doing great. ;D
Happy landings

Good job in the kithen Rc. Your tail was holding pretty well. Did you upgrade tail motor when you went brushless?

Wow, that's pretty amazing you got all that stuff in there. I have the walkera 4 #3b and ordered the brushless main motor upgrade from them. I also ordered the improved brushed tail motor, which was a good thing since I tried the upgrade with regular tail motor and it would not hold. I had a hard time fitting the esc and signal converter all inside the canopy. With the tail esc for brushless I don't know how I would have fit it all in.
Took a look at the cb180 to see how they fit everything in and noticed they had a bigger canopy and the newer rx didn't need a signal converter added to the mix.

Yeah, I had to get a little creative to fit those two ESCs in there. I just used double sided sticky tape and stuck one on each side of the Rx.
The Canopy looks a little lop-sided when it goes on and it is a tight fit for sure, but I managed to get it all in there. The brushless tail should take care of your problems.

On the cb180 they had the esc under the rx but that requires a bigger canopy. I did what you did, put the esc on one side of rx and the converter on other side. I did not get the brushless tail,( didn't want to spring for the extra cash), but got the "improved" brushed tail motor which is holding nicely for now.
