Well, I finally had the time to install the Scorpion 2221-8. I did a very short test hover yesterday and decided to try another today. But I forgot to check the basics. I got it about 2 ft off the ground and was about to punch it when that horrible sound started. It was over in less than a second. I had no clue what happened until I picked it up and saw the elevator linkage hanging. Apparently the screw for the elevator linkage backed out. It will be a while before I get it back in the air. My damn hands aren't cooperating with me anymore. So far, here is what I see: 1. Main Shaft 2. Feathering Shaft 3. Blades 4. Main Gear (that Scorpion had plenty of momentum -- stripped it in 3 spots) I'm sure this list will grow  |

I have most of the stuff, so it won't hit the wallet too bad. But time and nimble fingers are both lacking right now...

The Cruiser is back in the air with just the parts mentioned above. Not too bad. With my old ESC (having trouble with my Scorpion one), it flies like a bat out of hell. I'm not worth of this 2221-8 with all this power. Its like giving Miss Daisy a Mustang GT ;D
This thing is as smooth as could be. I need a good day to take it out and give it a good trial.
