Anyone have any dealings with this company? They have some awesome 90MM EDF jets I like,,,they even have a twin B-2 bomber. I can't find these jets anywhere else. I've heard good and bad about these guys,,,,like most other companies,,,there is always some negative stuff.
Anyone??

I used to buy from them in the 80s and early 90s they were good to do business with back then but can't say how they are to work with now but they have been around since before internet

I was going to buy from them, but there were too many negatives out there about them. More than just your usual cranks that are never happy with anything.

19K,,,, I have to give them a try. They have some whicked F-4s that are 90mm and run on 6S. Since I can order with no battery and no radio,,they aren't very expensive. They have a simular F-18 and a B-2 bomber that is cool. Take a look. I'm ordering a F-4E,,I'll let you know how it goes.

I was looking at the new F-86 (belly land version) that Bannana Hobbies is advertising is comming out in Jan. I was about to Pre-order then I saw Nitroplanes made a video of one saying it was comming soon. I think Bananna hobbies is alot like Nitroplanes/Xheli and they import stuff from alibaba.com or madeinchina.com and all those import sites.

That's why my hand was hovering over the "Buy" button. You just can't find those planes elsewhere. At least I haven't. Look forward to hearing that it works out good for you. Happy landings

Hi guy's I have bought quite a few things from Banana Hobby. This was my first over sea's purchases with pay-pal. The only problem i had was they didn't pack me a battery charger once when it was meant to come with one. This was where i got some of my cars from back in the day. Took about 7 days from order to my door as well and i was impressed.
I look there alot at the planes to and wow i love that "comming soon" JSF or you guys call it out there i think the F35 with the full thrust vectoring. And yes that B-2 with opening bomb bay doors is epic. And its bloody massive. I want one. ^^ Well anyway i trust to buy stuff from Banana Hobby that's my 2c

Well,,,I got the 90mm F-4E,,,but it hasn't been easy. I ordered on the 5th of Jan,,,,they sent the wrong plane,,,,they sent me a shipping lable,,I sent it back,,,,I got the right plane on the 26th. It had one bad servo,,,BH is sending me a new servo. So,,I'm getting what I want and they are taking care of problems. By the time I get the replacement servo,,it will be a month for me to get to fly it.
BUT,,,,I have NEVER been able to contact them on the phone and they don't answer e-mails. The only way to get a hold of them is thru their 'live-chat' support, which can take a long time. Sometimes well over an hour before they answer the live-chat,,then they have you on 'hold' forever while they look things up.
On their facebook page,,BH says their phones are being up-graded,,so maybe in the future they may actually answer one.

All I know is this was the company I started with and wanted to quit before I got my first heli. It was 2 months before I got the copter I ordered and when it arrived, it was the wrong one. In my 54 years, this company provided the most absolute worthless customer service I've ever experienced. In other words, my experience with BH is quite memorable; I will always remember NOT to buy from them again.
Hope this helps you make a wise decision...Now I deal with Helicopter Heaven, Helipal, and Hobby Wing...in that order.

drhardshell,,, welcome to the BB.. I can't argue with that,,,I'm pretty much of the same opinion of them. My problem was the jet,,,I wanted it,,,and it cannot be found anywhere else. I even contacted the importer and they confirmed that no-one else will be selling it in the near future. So,,,I guess I'm willing to fight for what I want,,,and so far,,I have had to fight,,LOL.
It's a shame,,,,BH has a lot of quality models,,,a lot of stuff you just can't elsewhere. They must have some awesome contacts to manufacturers and they have a way to freeze out other retailers.
I suely won't go back to them unless I'm desperate,,I guess I was in this case!!
