I have a loaned copy of Realflight. I own Clearview. I like Clearview better. Realflight takes alot of computing power and a higher end graphics card or you gotta turn the graphics WAY down. There are other things in Realflight that makes it attractive though like for the RC combat and online stuff.
I am thinking of trying Pheonix though cause I keep hearing it's more realistic physics for Helis. I need to download the demo to see how well it works on my PC. I use my son's PC because it's upstairs in the study room and I do the sim when they are getting ready for bed and I have to be up there anyway making sure they "GET R DONE".

I ran the Phoenix sim demo and it ran great on my PC. I'm curious from anyone who has it if the demo is a good indicator of how well it will run in the normal software on a PC or if the demo is more efficient than the real thing.

I've got the phoenix and I'm very happy with it. I've tried the real flight before, and it seems pretty good too, but not as good with the helis. Another great thing is that Phoenix keeps updating and adding new fields, planes and helis. They've just recently added the 450 pro, 250 and even the mSR.

I'm going with the Phoenix too. I've flown it a lot at Hobbyzone and it's really slick. I think the free updates for life is a very good feature.
Happy landings

You're not seeing 66 bucks disappearing from your wallet at heliguy : ;D
Well, they sell two versions. One with a Tx and one without. Either way it seems like a bargain.
How's Phoenix doing?
Happy landings
