check you dx6i tx the code that they say to look for is not the only code, mine is HE901EUS the ones they recalled were
809E 810E 811E 812E
SO recheck your tx,s
like i said mine is HE901EUS my throttle is stuck and not responding
i didnt send mine back because of it did not match. but now i have to. bummer for me.

They did say to do the checkout procedure even if the date code didn't match. They would fix them anyway.
Mine didn't match...it didn't even have a date code...but they fixed it anyway under the recall.

These recalls are a pain in the neck, but at least you can rely on Horizon to fix it no questons asked. Not many places are that reliable when it comes to extending a warranty.

I think any DX7 owner would suggest you did step up. There have only been a couple of minor problems with the DX7. I'd get the DX6i fixed and have it as a backup and buy the DX7. Really though, since I don't own either one, long story, I'm probably the wrong guy to give advice. ;D

DX7 here. One,,,,I have 13 active models programmed so a DX6i wouldn't handle it. I got mine last May and have abused the hell out of it. I doubt many pros have flown as much as I have,,well,,up 'til winter hit,,LOL. I have had ZERO problems with mine,,,and I've not heard of anyone having problems with the DX7.
I'm a Yooper,,,,we Yoopers are not easy on anything,,LOL!!
DX7---Yooper tested!!! Yooper aproved!! ;D

Another DX7 here. No problems at all. One menu button issue but it only needed cleaned.Did it myself while I was adjusting throttle tension.
