That does not seem right put a dc voltmeter on it and see if it gives you a positive or negitive reading on the motor outputs.. Ray

You sure you don't wanna go brushless now? ;D
I've never had a heli with a separate brushed ESC, so I can't say if the throttle range needs to be setup on those or not. Were there any directions with the ESC?
Does it throttle down as you raise the stick? Maybe throttle reversing might work. Just guessin' here, bud.

Well, I just checked a Castle Creations and an Electrify brushed ESC online and both have to be setup for throttle range, so I'm guessing yours does as well.
BTW, looking at your pic above, are the Rx connections the right orientation? I'm sure you have it right, but it's hard to tell from the pic.

But at first, second and third look, it looked like the ESC was hooked to the BATT connector on the RX. Just the angle of the picture. BTW, no answer on the throttle. But I have read of others having issues setting their full throttle with the brushed ESC. Apparently it is a common problem. I'll go back and see if I find how they fixed it.

I have a couple of e-sky 20 amp esc's for brushed motors your welcome to try one if you like. I have lightened them up and they work perfect. As far as throttle reversal the DX6I is real easy to reverse the throttle or any channel. Ray

Well, you could trade Ray an Esky charger for one of his brushed ESC's while you wait, too.
