Nice Flying Randy, I can't believe you just started this last summer. Lot's of snow out there at your place, but it's just fine, you can have it. It makes your flying field look just great, wide open. Hopefully the snow absorbed most of the impact and there wasn't too much damage. I've learned my lesson about doing intentional autos for a while I think. Keep it up man, you're moving fast.

Cool. What made the head unload like that at the end? I simply hooked the snow with the skids and dumped it over. I started the auto way too far from me. I had it up well over 300 feet and just missjudged it. I had plenty of energy in the rotor so I did well with the collective. The only damage was a bent main blade grip linkage ball pin. Took one minute to swap it out and flies great. Not a scratch on the heli, canopy or blades, so,,, I guess you can call it a successfull auto,,,LOL,,,ugly as it be!
