The timing is set to automatic.I may change it to low. The soft start has three levels and is set to medium. It spooled up about right. I had to bump up the timing on the ESC that ran funny here. The low timing made it 'skip'. You can tell this by hammering the throttle. If the motor just stalls with a squealing sound then it's too low. I have found that all reasonably high kv motors like 'mid' or around 15 degree timing. Higher timing can give you more power, but also more heat too. Low timing on these generates much less power and a LOT more heat. Kent

Holy cow.I programmed my Turnigy ESC and it sux.lol...
You can only change one feature at a time. You plug in the battery, wait to go into program mode. Listen to the tone.Three sets of four tones for each feature. When it starts making the set of tones for the option you want, drop the throttle. You get a confirmation then you unplug the lipo.Set the throttle to full.Plug in the lipo and wait through the tones for the option you want and drop the throttle.
Repeat this for every feature. I almost overheated my ESC from plugging it in and unplug.Plug in and unplug.Plug in....blah blah blah.....
I'll have the program card soon in case I ever have to do that again.

That's really odd for programming, but I don't doubt that one bit! The Chinese are an odd bunch for programming stuff.
The Volcano programming card works with my Turnigy ESCs, in case you have one of those laying around. Kent

There is only one card that works with this ESC and that card won't work on any others.

I got another lipo to try. It's a 2450mAh 6S 30C Turnigy. Much better balance than the 2200 and 2650. I also did the battery tray mod. I figured since Align made the mod to their CNC machine,it must be a good idea.lol...

It's interesting that you found that battery to balance better. I have to move my 2650 6s forward a ways to get a good balance. The 3300 6s pushed up against the servos balances perfectly. My tray mod was to drop it for more clearance in the canopy for the bigger batteries. Kent

Got the TT installed... I got the GP780 and DS650 tail servo on and at first it was giving me fits... Dialed in a little delay and set the preference to RED for a smaller heli... Bumped the headspeed way up and now it's looking good. Got my true gains to 26% and -36% which is 63% and 32% for you guys using gyro sens menu. Watch close when I bring it up nose in about two feet from my legs and the wind gusted real fast.Kinda had a pucker moment.lol... Finally dialed in and this will be the last ever flight in Normal mode.lol... I flew the whole pack in rate mode and never noticed til I landed Hope to be FBL soon now.

It is all coming together. I removed the RX tray and installed the RX and 3G power bus on opposing sides and then plugged the servos in the 3G. Then I reinstalled the tray already wired up. Also replaced the swash with Align as well as the main shaft. I was fighting a wag and losing.Spending all kinds of time and money and finally,I put on a $4 set of Align tail blades and SNAP...No more wag.lol..Go figger ;D It's almost there.I think Edge blades on the head and tail are next and then a new ESC.
