I need to trim the shaft or replace the shaft on my Towerpro and I am wondering how far to trim it. When using the prop saver, do you need to have the prop saver at the end of the shaft with none of the shaft extending through the prop? I am assuming so, but I want to "measure twice, cut once" ;D
BTW, the Towerpro shaft is really soft, BUT an Align SE v1 feathering shaft is perfect. If I can work out a few details, I am going to use it instead.

As long as the prop can fold over with the band, I think that would be your limit on the shaft length.

Thanks Kent. I put the Align feathering shaft in and it is perfect. Much better quality and the length couldn't be better.

Wow,BT, you're just full of innovative ideas. First? was the SC struts and now a motor shaft...you sure you weren't a farmer at one time? They can fix anything with a roll of duct tape and some baling wire.
