Well, yesterday was a pretty nice day out, so I decided to go out and fly. Went out to the field, and OMG that wind was crazy. I had most of the fleet in the car. I started with the EXI 500 and it was an OK flight, nothing too crazy and the camera didn't work. These are some flights I managed to get in. The first is a flight of the Typhoon. I was really fighting the wind in there, but it all came in without a scratch: Next up was the Flying Shark. I had just repaired this one the day before, so prolly should have kept it on the ground. Anyways, as you can see, the wind made it a difficult task to fly: A little glue and she's back up and running. This little shark is cool looking, but not my favorite to fly. Finally, I decided, if I can't beat em, I'll join em. I pulled out the kite and finished the day by using the wind to my advantage: Boy, having a kite with you certainly takes away the sting of wrapping up the day due to strong winds. I want to step this bad boy up now, get some streamers on the end, or a better stunt kite.

Nice job, RCD!
I fly kites too!!
They are 100 times easier than RC, until you get into doing stunts.
I can do all manner of stunts with my kites, and I have been lifted off the ground by them, too! That is an experience.
But, RC is way more fun, really. Kent

Nice flyin' RC. That shark looked like it was in a feeding frenzy. ;D When I'm asked on a particular day if it's too windy to fly I usually reply, "It's hardly ever too windy to fly, but it might be too windy to land in one piece." ;D
