My 9 year old stepdaughter has been coming with me to the flying gym on saturday night's, she loves watching the foamies and the park fliers.
One of the guy's had a Vapor there and was flying it around, loops, almost hovering it, doesn't have enough power.
So he let Nicole try it, within 5 minutes she was flying it around the gym!
Yep, we got her one and she has been flying it every saturday night! That little thing is fun, just cruises around.
At one point we had like 10 park fliers cruising around, 2 vapors, a coupla cubs, a couple bipes and a few others, it was pretty cool.
It is cool for me because this is something we can do together.
Last week The club treasurer presented her with a teeny heli, infrared 2 channel, soon she was buzzin' around with that!
Just thought I would share, this a really cool hobby.

That's great Troy.  We just got through teaching a bunch of kids R/C with the Vapor in our school gym. They were a bit older than your stepdaughter, 11-12, and the girls were definitely quickest to pick up the flying. The parents were in attendance too, so it was a great bonding opportunity in a common interest they can share for a lifetime. |

Sometimes you can lose track of which airplane is yours or just be concentrating on your plane don't see the other plane in time. All part of the fun. Now, there's another group of guys, not our group, that actually do this on purpose. They chase each other around and try to crash each others vapors. That's got to get expensive. |

They weren't doing it on purpose, they were all flying at the same time, looked like mating butterflies!
