I've heard several people rave about "Anderson Power Poles" for use as connectors. They are supposed to be easier to use than Deans and can be crimped rather than soldered. Has anyone had any first hand experience with them? Do you mean these- www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD176&P=ML . I use them in all my rc cars. I think deans are alot easier to solder on. The thing with the powerpoles are once you connect the metal connector to the plastic part and it comes unsoldered there a pain to get off and fix.

heres what i think gabe is talking about, these are handy as he!! since the link is not working, works great for soldering deans, or anything for tht fact.

Bingo. Try the menu at Hobby City/King on the left under tools. They are on the first page. Not sure why the link didn't work.
They make it soooo easy.
