BTW, did you mount your battery on the bottom rack or the top? I'm not anywhere good enough for 3D, so the bottom rack seems ok for sport flying with the ESC on top Sorry, I missed this earlier. I mounted mine on the top, ESC on the bottom. The nice part about here is that the battery has room to move to balance the heli, if you use different sized batteries. If it is on the bottom, you could risk pushing it up against the motor, bad for an outrunner. Also, with mine to balance with a 2200ma battery, it needs to be pushed all the way inwards on the top shelf. This is almost to the center of the motor. If you only run the 1800's, then the bottom shelf should be fine. Here's a pic. Kent

Hey Kent,
I ordered my EXI on the 11th (a day after you) and it left California on the 12th according to UPS tracking. Im supposed to receive it on 17th (Tuesday) and UPS says it is on schedule. You might want to check on yours.

You might want to check on yours. Unfortunately, they charged my CC on the 11th, sent the UPS code the same day, and according to UPS tracking, it has not left yet. I sent an email to Xheli about it. Nothing back yet. Bummer. Kent

Did you order any 450 cases that they had for $30? The reason I ask is that those are bulky. Maybe they found out that they were losing money by shipping those to me for free, even with the other stuff that I ordered? Kent

No .........I ordered a case during the Black Friday sale before Christmas and didnt even have anything to put in in yet......LOL. It was $26 then, and just thought it was a good deal for a future heli. All I ordered this time was the EXI by itself.
After thinking about it, the trouble you had with the canopy might be what is holding yours up

That canopy thing was resolved on the phone, though...
Maybe you're right, but I don't know.
I hope they respond to my email tomorrow. They held my shipment once before, for unknown reasons. I emailed them then and then it shipped. Well, at this point, IF they ship next week, I won't be here to play with it anyway. I'll be about six thousand miles away. Bummer. Kent

Kent,
I have never had any luck with them returning a e-mail to me. Maybe you will have better luck with it than I did.
The only way I have ever got anything resolved is by phone and its a pain in the as$. Unless you get lucky, it may take several attempts to get through, and then you have to wait in line of progression. I have waited for over 45 minutes before.
Good luck Kent

Well, Solitaire, next week, I'll be at a much farther northern latitude than where you live!
You should come down south like where Ranben and I live.
Alabama is a nice place! So is Texas!
Norway is way too far away and it's too cold there. Even in the summer. But I will tell you what, the women there are beautiful! Very few chubs. 99% have blue eyes and blonde hair. Many dye their hair dark just to be different. They actually have blond roots growing out! Plus, the women there wear miniskirts with their waist length huge coats, with tight leggings and furry boots. Man that is a turn on to me, for some bizarre reason. To see a girl with incredible legs in boots and a big jacket! In Oslo, there were girls wearing huge waist length jackets and then G-strings with no leggings, but they had boots! That was really interesting! Cold buns that needed to be warmed up! Pretty amazing!
I live in Texas, so noone here pretty much ever wears coats. Heck, I didn't even own one until I had to do the Norway trips. If ladies dress like that in Canada, then I'm actually jealous! Here, the ladies just wear normal clothes during the winter. No fun. But the summer here is much better! No clothes for the ladies! Only bikinis! That's good.
But Ugh. Too dam cold in Norway. Kent

Unfortunately, the ladies here wear lots of clothing in the winter, although we don't get as cold here as most other parts of Canada. You must be in a sheltered part of Texas as I've heard of snow there on occasion. Even had some in Florida last year, although I'm sure it doesn't last. A friend of mine from Israel went to Norway last winter for her job. Now that's a climate shock. +20C to -10C in one day. Probably similar to what you'll experience. Now that we've covered Norway and XHeli shipments, I've watched Finless's Futaba 9 channel setup, got completely confused, and now need to find something specific to the Spektrum 6 channel. Anything out there or do I need to sit down with a good book...the manual? BTW, have a good trip. Take a heli with you.

Hey Sol,
(Gettin off topic again....sorry) In Alabama, if they even mention a slight chance of snow flurries they close the schools. If snow actually falls and sticks, even 1" on the ground, they normally close all roads.
I lived in New Jersey as a kid, so I found this pretty funny.
