I have a G2 and I am wondering if the tail servo is supposed to move to the left by itself.
I am too scared too get it off the ground till I figure this out because I have heard too many people say they lift off and the G2 spins out of control.
Please HELP!!!

I have a G2 and set my gyro to normal mode then set the servo to 90 degrees and made sure the slide bar that controls the rudder was centered in the middle. Have not flown it this way yet but that's what the manual said to do with all servos. I have read in the Rcdiscuss forum that in AVCS mode the slide bar will not always return to centered due to the heli not in flight. Do not know if this helps you but I can post my results when I get the chance to fly it. G.Luck Rfloops311

roof, the tail rotor is your rudder. ;D
When the gyro is on it's normal to have the slider move in towards the boom.
The spinning is usually caused by no having the servo holder far enough back on the boom so that the servo can position the slider for the right amount of initial tail rotor pitch to prevent the nose from going left and spinning.
Happy landings

Listen to 19000RPM.
The spin is likely the boom is loose and/or the servo holder is not positioned to center the slider on the tail shaft. At the drive end there should be about a 50% deflection in the belt. If the boom is still loose take it out and put a half round of scotch mending tape in the area the frame grips the boom. You’ll need to take all of the screws out in the area so that you can pry the airframe open a bit to slide the boom back in with the tape in place.

Just to clarify, I have not flown the G2 yet, I am just speculating that it could spin out of control. Not that it will.
Great information for the future though.

I guess you are working with the brushless mod on the Exceed Falcon 40.

Yeah, basically. I'm also waiting on a pitch gauge from xheli (SORRY) and the free canopy because the one I got was completely destroyed. I see the mailman, will tell you if he has a box soon. xheli order should be here today. RTF your order has left someplace in NY and hopefully gets here before the weekend is over, PLEASE. Right now I'm flying the falcon 40, still only flying it while looking directly at the tail, im not that good. I can still hover though The two times I tried to fly high (15-30ft), didn't end well. First I broke my old skids second time I broke a servo. Oh yeah, my other problem is that my tires on my car popped at school today when I went to lunch. Had to have my mom pick me up.
