I bought one of these for my plank parts. I also now transport all of my batteries in it. I use the bottom drawer for all batteries that are charged. As I use them up, I throw them in the top. I also keep a charger in the top as well as a 100v inverter and hot melt glue gun. There is plenty of room for all of that. The bottom drawer front as well as the next drawer up contain props. Small parts are in the top drawer. The middle drawer also has all of my servos and other parts.
I really like this thing, as it really does do like the video below. I have never seen any small part move anywhere and it is too easy to just pick up and go.
My heli parts, tools, etc. are in a large tackle box. I have to be very careful not to tip it. All the small parts will rearrange themselves then!
Rating from 1 to 5 stars:
Storage usefullness: 5 stars Having parts stay where you put them: 5+ stars Ruggedness: 5 stars Size: 4 stars (it is rather large) Value: 3 stars (it is expensive at $60)
If it wasn't so big and if it had more small compartments for small parts, I would toss everything else! As it is, I love it for the uses I listed above. It's perfect for battery storage, as well as other larger items. The top drawer also works great for small parts. Bottom line is that I wish it had more places and space for small parts.

That is a really nice field kit box. I like that locking system. Right now I'm using a tackle box and I can't tell you how many times I go to lift it with the lock not on.

I have one of those too and I really like it. I actually wish it was just a little bigger though.
I got the orange and black one directly from PDY systems. It was the same price as Grayson but PDY had free shipping at the time. PDY also had more color selections than anywhere else I found.

Good to know. I'll take another look. I don't really need a box like this, but if I'm going to order something else from them why not?
